Til dette oplæg går vi igennem manosfærens memekultur, hvordan den bruges til at sprede anti-feminisme og kvindefjendske fortællinger, og hvordan

den har fået ideer, influencere og koncepter til at gå så mainstream, at

børn helt ned i 0 klasse kender ordet “sigma”. 

Bio: Maia Kahlke Lorentzen er cyberheks og troldejæger der arbejder i krydsfeltet mellem tech, digital kultur og menneskerettigheder. Hun er medstifter af netværket Cybernauterne der undersøger og formidler cybersikkerhed, internetkultur digital forståelse. Her kortlægger hun online bevægelser som manosfæren, konspirationsteoretikere, og højreekstremister, men mere positive eller konstruktive fællesskaber som fankulturer og Open Source sociale netværk. In this presentation, we dive into the meme culture of the manosphere, how it is used to spread anti‑feminism and misogynistic narratives, and how it has pushed ideas, influencers, and concepts so far into the mainstream that even children as young as first grade know the word “sigma.”

Maia Kahlke Lorentzen is a cyber‑witch and troll hunter working at the intersection of tech, digital culture, and human rights. She is the co‑founder of the network Cybernauterne, which explores and communicates cybersecurity, internet culture, and digital understanding. Here, she maps online movements such as the manosphere, conspiracy theorists, and right‑wing extremists, as well as more positive or constructive communities like fan cultures and open‑source social networks. Together with the other Cybernauts, she also co‑hosts the podcast Cybernormer.
